Personal Info

Born in 1976, I am a bicentennial baby. With crayons in hand, I emerged from the womb and except for the occasional switch to graphic pen or stylus, I have never let them go. I spent four years in the art building of Austin Peay State University and somehow left with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design.

Since then I have designed professional web sites, brochures, newsletters, posters, catalogs, advertisements, etc. for a number of different companies. My corporate experience includes University art programs, design firms, an Internet startup and a multi-million dollar book distributor. Experience was not enough for me, so I obtained a CIW (Certified Internet Webmaster) Master certification. I regularly attend classes, seminars & conferences to enhance and refresh my skills.

I am proficient with many different programs. Instead of listing them here, I'll just provide a link to my résumé where you can get a better sense of my skills. I must also mention that I am well experienced on both Mac & PC systems. I even have a Mac/PC network at home for personal use!

Tennessee is my home but I long to take root elsewhere. I'm happily married to someone just as interesting and geeky as I am. Currently, I captain a bowling league team for special needs people and practice yoga on a regular basis.

My husband and I traveled overseas to the land of leprechauns & rainbows; Ireland. We soaked up all the culture and beer we could and spent the rest of our time trying to survive the driving experience. It was truly an unforgettable trip and one we hope to repeat in the future. Feel free to view some of our adventures in Ireland as well as our other travels by choosing a link below.
